For instance if someone knows the password to your phone but you don't want them to be able to access your pictures, is there a way to lock that specific app?

Actually yes, I believe there is, but I can't remember the name of it.
It's basically a folder type of thing that has its own password iorotection so you would need to come up with a separate password.
