iPad 2 instability issues

I like it to stop. Display switches between apps...some of which aren't even open. Impossible to use. I have reset several times to no avail. Any solutions?

If you mean reset by turn it off and on to no avail

What you need to do is perform a back up either to iCloud or iTunes and then connect it to your computer and Restore your device. That will fix your issue
