Hi,

I browse a lot on my iPad, and you know all the info at the top of the screen never move. I noticed last time when i left Safari for Event, that i was still able to see the adress bar and the search bar. Have you ever experience this ? The best example is to go to the appstore in portrait mode after a lot of browsing (portrait mode too), then you'll be able to see the info at the top of the screen in the black area...

Does this means my screen is getting old ? I'm happy with my iPad 2 16GB 3G + WiFi and don't want to change, and i don't have apple care...

Mines done it since I first got it. It's apparently a fault of LG, who produce the screens for the iPads (the problems have been widespread reported on the retina mac books, also LG screens). Before the fallout with Samsung they apparently produced the best screens for the iPads/MacBooks but obviously that's not the case anymore. Ju st keep your brightness at minimum, or if not, as you know it goes away on its own.
