Large PDF transfers from windows 7 pc to iPad 2

I have downloaded a catalog for my job and after several attempts to download it to my iPad I finally just downloaded it to my pc. The problem now is that the file is to large to send to my iPad over wifi. Can someone please tell me how to tether my iPad to my pc and transfer this file. I did it once before with another catalog of the same size, but I really was just messing around and did it and don't really know how. If someone could please help me with this I would be truly grateful. My email address is .. Please help!!!!

Connect phone to computer.
Open iTunes.
Select phone.
Go to apps tab.
Scroll to bottom. There will be two panes one if which you select the app you want to use to open the PDF, and the other to select the PDF on the file system.
Sync.

Maybe you could try to email the PDF file?
Or you can use DropBox if you have that on your PC and the iPad. And you can use iOS file sharing as well if you have Adobe Reader, Good Reader or Save2 PDF or another PDF files sharing app on the iPad.
