Turn off 5GHz (802.11a)?

Is there any way to turn off the 5GHz radio on the iPad? There is the capability on Mac's, but doesn't appear to have any on the iPad. I'd like to turn it off to do some testing on the 2.4 GHz side only but the infrastructure also supports 5GHz, and I'd rather not turn off the 5GHz infrastructure. Thoughts?

As you pointed out your router can do it, BUT then it's network wide. I don't believe the ipad support that natively, either you need to wait and hope apple adds that feature, OR that a 3rd Party developer writes an app for it. This type of app is more likely to be for jailbroken devices. You might also try checking and/or asking here.....
