HD Camcorder Videos to iPad...?

Just wondering if anybody knows the easiest way to get my HD videos into my iPad2? I have a Sony HDR-PJ10 camcorder. The video format for the HD videos are MPEG-4 and the standard videos are MPEG-2. Neither formats read when I use the SD connection kit to my ipad. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You have to convert them to get them into iMovie, I'd use Handbrake, it allows you to convert to iPad format

Or you may try opening the file and using Quicktime>export>iPad.

I would suggest you convert the HD videos first.
