Ipad with 3G Contract Question

Is it possible to get an Ipad2 with 3G but not have a contract?

I would rather have prepaid or pay as you go.

Yup. Like the first gen, they come unlocked and contract free.

I believe you can use prepaid.

I have a 3g on Verizon (I was able to choose my carrier when I bought it) and I have the option month to month. I can never use, buy 2g, 3g, 4g and so on, on a month to month basis. I can even add in the middle of the month if I want.
