Does anyone know of a REAL either Retina Scan App, Facial Scan App, or a REAL Fingerprint Reader App that controls Logon to an iPad2 ????

This would seem like a natural app for security types but what I've seen so far is AWFUL !!!

Jailbroken iPhone users with a front facing camera can download this new "Facial recognition unlock for iPhone" app..... I would imagine an app like this would work on the iPad 2 as well when a jailbreak is released, since it does have a front facing camera.

Thanks Rose... I saw this one yesterday and read the reviews on it - some bad .... some ok... EITHER way, since there is no iPad 2 Jailbreak out there yet, and I'm really not inclined to jailbreak my iPad anyway, it looks like I may have to wait or go overseas.... Clearly the developers in the US or this hemisphere don't think this is a priority.. I have no clue why!!??

I don't think it is the Devs in the US. Apple has specific things apps are allowed to do and I guess messing with phone security is not on that list.

The cameras aren't that great for retina or fingerprint. Have you tried taking a photo of either?

They're not solely basing decisions on your personal preferences. Have you actually determined how much real world demand there is?
