iPad 2 orders start tonight, 1am PST, 4am EST in the US. If you order one let us know when and where to, and if you get any order confirmations or shipping notifications, and what date they're set for delivery.

I ordered mine on-line about 5 min. ago says shipping is 3-5 day to so. cal.

the cover ships in 1-2 days though.....

iPad 2 went on sale early, around 12:40am PST. Got mine ordered. It says it will ship in 3-5 business days, but hopefully I get it faster than that.

i am literally within 5 miles of the apple warehouse for southern California and it still will travel almost 100 miles by truck before it gets to my house...

Same here.

No option for express or overnight delivery, so it's expected between the 18th and 25th. as long as it shows up in one piece (i.e. it's NOT delivered by the USPS) I'll be happy.

Just got the e-mail confirmation for my order: a 32GB white wi-fi model. Got a delivery estimate of March 18th-25th tho.

Ordered online at 1:00am straight up; 2 ipads (32wifi white & 643g black) - shipping to Oregon... delivery dates March 18-25th... I sure hope that's wrong. Assuming these are already in a warehouse, I was hoping these would be shipped sometime Friday and I would see them by mid-week. Bummer.

Apple needs to change their "Fast, free shipping" statement...

Just ordered a Black 64GB WiFi model. Estimated delivery date is 3/18-3/25 for Northern California. No order confirmation through email yet.

Update: Received confirmation email about an hour after order was placed and it also had delivery estimate of 3/18-3/25.

Bought my sixteen gb black at 3:00 mt time. Gives the march 18-25 deliver. Disappointed it will take that long. Any chance it will come sooner?

I am in a suburb of Chicago and bought a 64GB 3G/Wifi:

Ships: 3 - 5 business days
Delivers Mar 18 - Mar 25

iPad Smart Cover Black Leather
Delivers: Mar 16 - Mar 21

However my gray smart cover is being prepared for shipment; I ordered one of each smart cover in case I don't like one of them

Got the same delivery date as everyone on a 16GB Verizon model from the apple store. Anyone notice you can't pick overnight shipping? Or any other type of shipping for that matter? I really hope it gets here before March 18-25.. If i don't see the order move, I'll head to the store tomorrow morning and cancel my order.

Am I the only one who hasnt received an email confirmation yet? I ordered last night when it was available and the website has all the information but no email yet.

Anyone know if I cancel my order, will the gift cards i used instantly be able to be used in the apple store or will i have to wait?

just got a tracking # for my iPad 2 front case... 1-2 business days and speedy fast delivery quote RESTORED. until my white iPad 2 gets delayed. Then i'll have to kill someone.

I ordered a 32GB black at around 12:57am. I noticed too that it went up a lil earlier than 1am. At first I did not get a confirmation email too, but I checked later on and mine is also expected March 18-25 and its coming to Northern Cali

I will just go to the store to get my smart cover
