Default Can I use my printer?

I have a HP office jet 6500 709n printer. As far as I can tell it does not support airprint. Is there any way to fix this so I can print from my ipad2? I have read alot about this issue but at this point I am just thinking about selling my old printer and getting one that will support airprint. Thanks

If you have a pc or mac, there's a couple different programs you can get that will allow you to print from your ipad. I can't think of them off hand, but google will help.

Or if you're computer savvy you can set it up without having to pay for the programs. It involves going into cmd prompt. Again I don't remember specifics off hand, but I've done it and it works pretty good.

I suggest you get Dropbox and PrinterShare apps as these will allow you to print with virtually any wireless printer.

I have an AirPrint printer and the only app that doesn't give me an option to print is Dropbox. Very annoying.

You might check with your printer website. Lots are providing apps which allow printing to networked printers. If you are using a Mac, AirPrint Activator works very well, and is free.
