Optimized Photo Library

I think I made a mistake.

Despite having a 128 GB iPhone 6s. I recently optimized my photo library and it freed up A LOT of space. I have over 4,000 photos and 340 videos (most of which are at 60 fps). For those insisting on the why... I have a 6 month old and my wife and I are using the 1 Second Everyday app to capture her first year... but that is neither here or there.

The mistake I think I made was in ordering the 32 GB iPad Pro 9.7. Is there anyone out there who uses the optimized photo library on both an iPhone and iPad who can compare their libraries? I am trying to figure out how much storage my photos will take up on this new device. I am leaning on exchanging it for the larger capacity before I even take it out of the box.

I would suggest going with a larger one, I am sure you'll be able to do with 64gb but you could also go for 128gb of you feel the need.

That's the thing though, there is no 64 GB option.
