I am hoping the new iPhone coming has a feature that will announce who is calling and along with announcing who is sending a text.

Caller ID Name, CNAM is a carrier dependent feature. Most phone companies in the US charge extra for Caller ID Name. Standard Caller ID is just phone number, and is also carrier dependent. The accuracy of it depends on your phone company database of numbers. My number is unlisted and will not appear in any Caller ID or Caller ID Name database.
