The links inside email no longer work since ios 9.3 update installed

The links show up.. you can see the 'click' happen only once
but it doesn't go to safari like it use to.. it just stays in email
and then re-trying only freezes my email app. I tried turning off the phone and also checked in my settings under restrictions but those are off too so I have no idea what to do. So frustrated!
There are so many emails from business that I am not able to read right now. argh

Apple says its working on a fix for the iOS 9 web link bug | iMore

Apple is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

I am having the same problem. However, not only does my email freeze, Safari also freezes on me. How can I solve this problem?

No fix currently. Apple will push out the fix when available. It's a known issue. Hopefully sooner than later.

Thanks for the information! Hopefully they will fix soon. It's driving me crazy
