Re: iOS 9.2 Public Beta 1 released

Downloaded and so far, it seems to have helped a good bit on my 6 plus. Transitions seem smoother.... Not near as jerky. App switcher is much improved.

Does it fix the email bug whereby opening an email from a push notification from the lock screen or shade will cause the email to stay on the screen when attempting to delete? Been happening on all the iOS 9 betas and official software. 👍🏻

So just a simple question. I have 9.1, if I backup on iCloud and download the beta will that iCloud backup work with 9.2?

So after downloading this everything is now running slower for me and all my Apple Music needs redownloaded and two apps won't update. 🏻

Is it just me but it seems a bit wonky few hours after a successful update? Like when u opening an app or app switching the app goes like popping up instead of a normal one transition whatever it is called. Had to reboot to put everything to normal

Going to update today - I just restored my phone due to an issue (didn't fix it!) and waiting for things to settle. Hopefully it will address what I'm seeing.

Odd as it seems, that's normal. It takes a day or two for a new OS to settle down. So I always wait a few days before pointing fingers. LOL

Yes, a backup made with 9.1 can be restored to a device running 9.2 --- but not the other way around. If you go back to 9.1 for some reason, you have to have kept a 9.1 backup to restore to.
