Missing Icons

There are some apps that appear in my settings menu without an icon. The icon that appears is the installation one.

It looks like you have a few apps that are hung up trying to download or update. Go to Settings > General > storage and iCloud usage > Manage storage (top one, not iCloud) > scroll down to affected apps> Tap on one > Tap delete.
Then find the same apps on your screen and press to make them wiggle. Tap the X. If it doesn?t show which apps they are, you'll have to figure it out by looking at what's missing or go down your purchased list.

I deleted but same icons are still there in settings

I found in AppStore and installed and uninstalled. So looked version number which 1.5 apps and reinstalled. Now there is no ploblem for me now. Thanks Ledsteplin

I've had a few do that way. I never saw them on the Settings menu though. Never scrolled down far enough. LOL. But I recognized that look.

I have hundreds of apps installed and deleted I can't figure out which are the affected ones
