Replacement for Contacts in App Switch?

Hello,
I used this feature a lot from IOS8. It would allow me to receive a call from a business partner, ring off, give a colleague a quick ring, then ring the same business partner back all from the home screen.

What's the replacement in IOS9? Advanced search doesn't seem to work on the 4s.

I could just go back to ISO8, I suppose.

I believe they moved this to the Search screen (with Siri Suggestions, News, etc.) to the left of the Home screen.

That's true on the newer iPhones, but unfortunately not on the 4s. I don't get the Siri suggestions and advanced search function

Check the App Store for apps/widgets to add contacts to your Notification Center.
