No more "Send as Text" option in messages?

So since the update, I've noticed that when you hold down the bubble in iMessage, there is no longer an option to "send as text" like there was before. Am I missing a new procedure or something? Can anyone else get this option to pull up on their device?

I still do, but only if it doesn't say delivered underneath the message.

I didn't even know you could do that, before, lol. I did notice that I can now delete single replies as opposed to being forced to zap entire conversations, but I have no idea if that was from IOS 8 and I hadn't noticed or if this is part of the new bells and whistles.

I'm an *****...that is what is happening. The message went through, and I tried it again and it worked just fine with "send as text" the way you described.
