Sketch in Notes . Not avail on original iPad Mini?

Cant' seem to find this option in the new Notes App. Can't seem to "sketch" from w/i the app.

Not on the 3rd Gen iPad either... not all features in a new iOS are available on all devices the iOS can run on...

Heard it's not available on iPod touch 5th gen too. Same RAM and processor as iPad mini 1st gen
