I am currently on the iOS 9.1 public beta on my current iPhone 6. I pre-ordered the 6s plus which I'll hopefully receive on launch. My question is, when I receive my new phone, which will be on iOS 9, will I be able to restore my backup from 9.1 beta?

When you get the 6s+ the first thing you do is go to the beta web site and enroll it and install the beta profile... Then, install 6.1 on it... Then you can restore the 9.1 backup to it.

Nope. You can't restore a backup from a new iOS version to an older iOS version.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm on the same boat. I have 9.1 beta and was about to install the official release 9.0 but I'm just not sure if I can restore my backup from 9.1 when I get my new iPhone 6S plus on Friday. I also heard that AT&T WiFi calling is still only available for beta testers and not available for public release due to pending FCC approval. I really like this feature a lot.
