Working good for me too. I just wish I'd known about the 9.1public beta before I spent all that time Wednesday finding a leaked version of the 9.0GM ... FML! ...

Some of the reported bugs in previous beta was fixed but for example the app switcher still shows settings as a blank white page. Reported again.
Other than that, the 9.1 is very fluid and haven't seen any stutter so far in the UI.

Yes. I was seeing blank white pages for various apps on the app switcher. Now it's just the Settings.

I was on the 9GM for less than 24 hours I believe...

I never because I got the popup message, the update didn't found this version, was searching then for the GM version and found 9.1 beta
This is then for me also the only disadvantage by all these beta's that I got this strange pop-ups from time to time, informing me about none existing updates ;-)

I have now 9.1 one day on my iPad air 2 without any issues, but a lot of new emojis. So, I update now my 6 also.

Beside some fixes (and that other see an advantage in speed) this is a prepare iOS for the new iPhones (developer notes): 3D touch and Live Photos. Both changes we didn't have any use now.

Everything is working fine for me except for my email showing 164 unread emails. But they aren't there and edit, select all and mark read isn't working. It allows me to mark them unread instead. Anyone have any ideas?

They fixed Swype. That's a huge and reassuring update to me.

The third party keyboards seem faster and less buggy.

Most applications appear to open just a smidge faster too.

May be a placebo effect though. However, I haven't encountered any instabilities... Yet.

It is 3:15pm EST now and I suddenly found that the camera app for me has only 4 options - TimeLapse, Photo, Square and Pano. The options for Video and Slo-Mo has gone and I am running the iOS 9.1 PB1 (installed today around 8am EST). Anyone else saw this yet ?

How did you do a clean install ? I mean I upgraded OTA from 9.0 PB-3 to 9.1 PB-1... How to do the clean install ? Do I downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 and then install the beta profile & move to 9.1 ?

Works great on my iPhone 6. Battery is going faster too.. With 9 beta 3 it was better. The speed and animations are improved. Really feels snappier. No problems with heat. New emojis. Works very well.
All I miss in iOS right now is Cache cleaner.. It's insane we are in 9 and still don't have it..
Please send them Feedback to add it in the next releases.. I have right now maybe around 2GB cache.. And for 16GB iPhone this is a problem.

Battery going faster as in dying faster?
Also yes, the 16GB is way too small for any user these days. I have no idea why they are still making them. I remember having a 8GB and 16Gb device and I was constantly plugging that thing into my computer to save and remove all the images taking up space.

Well that can't be safe for kids. Not that I support censoring them, but I'm sure someone will complain.
That would be cool if the phone knows your age and disables that emoji for minors. :rotfl:

I get ya, but it's not like it's porn or anything. I think Apple is way too conservative anyway when it comes to censoring apps.

The 6.1 Public Beta? Go to beta.apple.com and sign up... then follow the directions there after you get notified the signup was successful.
