I'm still having weird messaging issues on iOS 8.4

I'm still having weird messaging issues when I delete multiple messages and close the messages app by "force quitting" per say and then I open it up again and all the messages are gone. Restarting helps but also brings back all the messages I've deleted months ago it's a little annoying just wondering if their is a fix for this or not. I'm currently running iOS 8.4 on my iPhone 6 and this also happened while running iOS 8.3.

How did you update to iOS 8.4? Via iTunes or over the air?

Do you use the Messages app on multiple devices? For instances, an iPad, iPod Touch or a Mac?

It could be your iOS problem.

Backup your iPhone with iTunes. And try reset your iPhone to factory default setting.

I updated to iOS 8.4 over the air and I use messages in my iPhone 6 as well as my Mac Book Pro.

Delete all message threads. Toggle off iMessage. Sign out of iMessage. Sign back in to iMessage. Toggle back on. If that doesn't work then restore as new.
