upgraded of iphone to iOS 8.3 wiped out my albums in Photos
According to iTunes the application and sync process ran smoothly but ultimately I received an error message that said the sync failed because the process could not be finished. I made various attempts, and tried syncing fewer albums, one at a time, thinking perhaps I just had too many albums and photos, but nothing made a difference. Now, my pix show up in Photos on my iphone, but the albums do not. The photos and the albums are present in Photos and iPhoto on my iMac, and appear in iTunes.
