8.3 dupes in Spotlight

Since updating I've noticed that I'm getting duplicate results in spotlight search for apps and contacts. Not all the time and for everyone, but it seems to be happening for random apps/contacts.

I've rebooted a bunch of times and it still happens. I've deleted some of the offending apps and reinstalled...that seems to work. However I'm getting dupe results with FaceTime, and that obviously can't be deleted. Weird thing is that it appears to be happening randomly to certain apps...can't figure out what's trigerring it.

Not the worst problem in the word other than it's a bit irksome.

Could the "dupe" with FaceTime actually be with 2 different people or contacts?

It's listed under "Applications"...I always assumed Spotlight search for applications only refers to the apps themselves.

Probably so. If it continues, try a hard reset. Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Yeah tried several. Still nada. I'm starting to think that re-installing 8.3 is the only way to fix this.
