8.2 cant connect to Gmail.

Does anyone have this issue? It wont connect or it takes a while to connect but can not retrieve my mail. Am I going mad.

I'm getting my Gmail. I have 4 Gmail accounts. No problem with iOS 8.2.
Try signing out of your account, then sign back in.

I had this issue. I just restarted the phone and it took care of itself.

Are you using the native mail app, or 'Gmail' from the App Store?

I am having a similar issue only its with my yahoo mail accounts. I have reset the phone, deleted the email and put it back, nothing is correcting the issue.

The only Gmail issue I've been having is when I reply, the text field is like the landscape version on portrait mode. It's annoying.

UPDATE: It's come to my attention that mine and my Wife's Gmail emails are not being received by a friend's iCloud email in Miami for a number of hours. His iCloud is set properly on Push. If I send him one with my Outlook mail, he gets it immediately. But Gmail is taking 2 to 11 hours from sent time to received time. It appears to be a Gmail issue since this occurs on both mine and my Wife's phones. Yet when my Wife sends me mail from her Gmail to my iCloud, it goes through immediately. Shorter distance? State to state? Anyone else notice this?
