5th Gen iPod Touch & AND SMS Relay

I'm considering getting a 5th Gen iPod Touch for extra Music, apps & games that I ether don't need on my phone or for when my so decides he wants to play Spider-Man Unlimited or Tru Skate on my 4S, and wondered if the iPod Touch supports SMS Relay and Phone calls like the iPads do?

I might have to get one when I've got some spare money to spend on one.

I was planning on using my current iPhone as an iPod, but the battery on my 2nd Gen Touch isn't as good as it used to be which is making it impossible to use up until the 24 of October next year.
