With repeating reminders, will I get a reminder on the "End Repeat Date"?

So if I set a daily repeating reminder, does the end date mean that it will remind me one more time on that date, or does it mean the last reminder I get will be the day before the end date?

The "End Repeat" will allow you to enter a date that you want the "repeating reminder" to end. The date you enter will be the last day you get that particular reminder.

I have found this is not true with iOS 10. Instead the day before the "end repeat" date is the last day a reminder is listed.

Seems wrong....
