I think I might need something from CVS or Wallgreens tonight on the way home from work :)

We already have the infrastructure here in Canada with NFC enabled point of sale machines, but we don't have Apple Pay yet.... : (

Hopefully we get it here soon.

I've seen the readers at Wawa and Wegmans. Will have to try it out tomorrow. I was NOT going to update during the day today and opted to wait till the coast was clear when I got home.

I read that Apple pay can be used online on the 5s but how?

Sorry, I didn't see the online part. If you are able to, then go to Settings and then to Passbook & Apple Pay. If you are able to, you should be able to add your card there.

I was thinking more about this system recently.......

Assuming the system is secure, any similar mobile payments system, will be so much more secure than using a physical card as it means the track data cannot be skimmed.

Yes, I am simplifying things by saying it this way, but nonetheless, I really do like what it means. Of course, I'l have to wait about 1.5 years when I am next eligible to upgrade (from my 5s).

Used Apple pay last night at Duane Reade and it was quick, with the cashiers and the other people in line saying it was cool. :).

I'm thinking though, why I still needed to punch in my pin number (my debit card is my main card). Being that my fingerprint already proves that I am the owner of the card, I think punching in my pin number is redundant and can make the transaction less secure.

I just used it at McDonald's, and it was crazy fast. Even the cashier was surprised at how fast it went. Worked just like Tim Cook demoed it. Tap it, Touch ID, That's it!

Please give me 7-11 Apple Pay. PLEASE.

I have noticed in my area that over the past couple of month the 7-11's in my area were getting rid of the NFC terminals and installing these new setups. Yesterday I stopped in to 3 7-11's on my shift to use Apple Pay and all of them had swapped them out for the new ones. These locations had NFC terminals, I know that for sure.
