Swiftkey looks different in different apps

Switched from android to iphone 6 recently. I'm using swiftkey and noticed that they keyboard seems to take up a lot more real estate when I'm using Whatsapp than when I'm using imessage.

Is this normal?

I noticed the same thing even with the stock keyboard. It looks so much better in the messaging app and takes up a lot less space.

The experience probably depends on wether the app has been updated for iOS 8.

My guess is Whatsapp hasn't been fully optimized for ios8 yet, thats why even the stock keyboard is scaled weird.

Ok makes sense. Super annoying to see but whatever...guess I gotta live with it until whatsapp etc are updated!

That's because it hasn't been updated for is 8. Give it time
