Why can't I get album art restored after updating to iOS 8.0.2 on the iPhone 5s?

album art not restored after updating to ios 8.0.2 on iPhone 5s

Sorry if this has been addressed before, I searched but did not find a related thread.

Anyway. I updated my old iPhone 5s to 8.0.2 and not all of the album artwork was restored.

Is there any way to "download" or update the album artwork?

In iTunes... There's a menu option to get album art... Do that, then sync your phone.

OK, I have more music in iTunes than my phone can handle (another 3 gig) and I get the message that iTunes cannot be synced because there is not enough free space.

Where is the option to get album artwork?
