It's like eWeather HD. Spot on accurate, but the widget is not attractive.
Yeah, it reminds me of the Android widget boredom... One big circle that takes too much real-estate of your phone's screen.

you never know, might have an update coming.

Playing with Quick-Tap. This looks like a decent combination of Favorites and Launcher. Not sure how much I will actually use it (see my previous post on the effort required to use these "quick" widgets), but it does show promise. And it’s still in the App Store.

The app limits you to three entries in three categories. When you attempt to add more, you get prompted to upgrade to the paid version.

Check the Weather does not require location services. Add locations in the App and then add the widget. From the widget, press the arrow keys to go to the location you want. From then on, every time you open the notification shade, it won't use location services unless you change the location to the location services one.

Forecast++ would be my favorite but the weather is very inaccurate. [/url]
I also like Forecast+, but it's just not showing the right stuff, always about 2-3 wrong

Is it possible to minimize the widget and expand it or does it always show everything?

It always shows everything. Maybe in an update it will give the option.

eWeather HD 3.2, an update to its all-in-one weather forecast app for iPhone and iPad. New version introduces an unique widget - live weather clock for iOS 8 Today screen. New widget puts everything you need to know to prepare for a fall season - in the palm of your hand.

Widget provides seven types of weather data in 3 different styles. What is more important is that widget can use your physical location as well as fixed location ( more than 2,000,000 locations worldwide available). Widget is available in 38 languages.

I agree Hank, I love the app for the interface, and accuracy.
But I can't get past the widget, they have very good support.
I did email the dev, as a suggestion to change the widget.
