I haven't enabled the map yet. I'll wait for a storm.

I’ve tried many, but so far, I’ve only decided to keep two: Yahoo Weather and ESPN SportsCenter.

Anyone have a screenshot to share of The Weather Channel widget? I have the TWC Max app on my 6+, just wondering how the widget looks.

Here's what my NC looks like now:

And here are my options to add/edit:

At first I did not see the need for Launcher, but today I test drove it at the gym and it was a very convenient way to switch to a different app. I know you can double tap the home button or just swipe through pages, but I feel like using the widget was more efficient.

That's why I miss Jailbreak and tweaks like Zephyr and Auxo 2, which let's you swipe up the screen to go to the switcher instead of double tapping and you can launch any app and action from almost everywhere

From Launcher Twitter page. App still works but after 8.0.2 update I can't add system shortcuts anymore like "keyboard", etc.
That is a real joke, IMO the best new app on IOS and Apple pulls it. I have the free version and was trying to buy the pro version when I figured it out. Just don't understand their way of thinking at all.

    Precisely the two I kept
I find the widgets resembling Android phones....

Yahoo Sports just added a widget with today's update. Don’t like it as well as the ESPN SportCenter. The ESPN widget shows 2 games and scrolls through them. Yahoo Sports gives you all of your favorite teams' games in one long list.

CBS Sports also launched their widget today.

Weather Underground updated their app and widget to include current forecast and radar.

My biggest pet peeve with this stuff is the alignment. Either center it all or left align it. But not one of each. SMH.

Do apps in notification center update automatically, such as news or weather apps? If so, how do you go about getting them to do so?

Turn on background refresh. Otherwise, they just update when you visit the NC.

Settings > General > Background App Refresh

I've tried both and neither seem to work for me. Might be my phone. Thank you for the help.

    1. Remove your location in the native weather app.
    2. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Weather > [NEVER]
