When I swipe a message on my drop down I do now have the option to reply from there. I can only click the little x. Is anyone getting this to work the way it's supposed to?

You can only quick reply when the first banner comes down. If you dismiss the banner and then later pull down NC, it won't allow you to quick reply.

This is if you have Message Preview turned off for the lock screen.

The quick reply on the lock screen is what's missing for me. The 5c i upgraded had it. The 5s does not. Just an x to dismiss

I finally figured this out. The only way you can quick reply from the notification screen is if you have your messages app set to preview messages. once I changed this setting I was able to left swipe and reply with no issues

Okay! This is weird! The screen shot with the reply button showing is an sms. The other is an imessage. The other is also an sms. See the inconsistency?
