Faces of contacts not showing in multitasking interface -- just initials

Faces of my contacts are not showing up in the multitasking interface -- just initials. Same in my Phone Favorites. Anyone have a fix for me?

Not sure. Every contact that I actually have a photo set for shows correctly in the interface. Have you double checked that your photos are still assigned?

I have photos of some of my contacts. Those for whom I have photos, the photos show up. For those who don't I get their initials.
