"Low signal" drainage on several apps?

Just checked my battery usage for the first time since updating and was surprised to find "low signal" on a lot of these apps.

Don't have any signal/reception issues when using my phone but wondering if this might cause extra drainage. I should also add that I haven't seen a difference in battery life (on the gm for less than 24hrs so I guess time will tell).

Anyone experience this issue?

A weak signal will have an effect on the battery. Call your carrier and see if they can troubleshoot on their end that may improve the signal to your device.

Low signal will always drain the battery. Your radios have to raise their power to listen to catch a signal.
