Is iOS 8 available for download in uk?

Any one know when iOS will be available for download in the uk ? Will be the 9th of September this year or later ??

I looked online this morning and added 5 hours on to 1pm EDT, then double checked the exact time from 10am PDT.

The servers are getting hammered. You can either keep trying or come back to it again later one once the hectic downloading feeding frenzy has abated, like i'm doing.
