I still see many, many people around me who pay absolute zero attention to their health.
No matter how impressive the hardware and software, they'd really need something that actually motivates people into using it.

The way I see it, most people who already work out or watch their health for medical reasons, won't be baffled by newer apps and technologies.
It might make it easier or more efficient, but it won't really change the way you work out, right?

On the other hand, the people who haven't motivated themselves to get to working out (or have no real need of the medical aspects), probably won't be persuaded by fancy apps and sensors.

It might be helpful for those who already have interest in it, but I think for it to be a revolution it would have to grab hold of those who don't, and I don't think that will happen.

Of course, that's just my unprofessional opinion based on absolutely no research other than what my eyes see ;) .
