Apple's alleged health tracking app(s)

Am I the only person who is uninterested in the alleged health tracking app(s) that is/are rumored to be associated with iOS 8?

You're not the only one, I just want iOS 8 to feature a few tweaks that make using their device more efficient for me

Most of them are of not much utility without some sort of gadget or means outside the phone to collect data...

I wasn't interested until they announced Epic Systems will be integrated. Epic Systems is one of the largest and most integrated EHR and their standards are right on the mark with healthcare reform and JCAHO standards. This is HUGE for healthcare because now information given to a patient during clinic visits & hospital admissions will be available to them in an app thats part of the OS, versus them having to remember a separate website, user ID & password to access info. This makes the federal mandate for updated health records more appealing & that much more accessible to the patient. This is a wonderful step in the advancement of EHRs.

I have always and still believe that Apple is going to play a big roll in Health related Apps whether for tracking or diagnosing.
