Google events not syncing to phone

Ever since changing from the 4s to the 5s any calendar events I enter on my iPad or desktop don't sync to my new phone. I had Caldav set up on my 4s to sync my Google calendar events between the desktop, phone and iPad. Of course I can't find how to set up Caldav now and can't get all my events on my phone. Help!

All you need t do is setup the iPhone 5S using the Google Setup. To do this, do the following:

1. Go to Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then select "Add Account"
2. Select "Google"
3. Enter the Name, email address, password and a description for your Google Account.
4. When the account is setup, make sure that Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Notes are all enabled, if you want them all to sync. If not, only enable the ones you want to sync to your iPhone 5S.

Thank you! I have it all set up and keep checking but so far none of the events are coming in. I did a reboot on my phone and even made a "test" event on my desktop to see if it would show in the native calendar..........nothing so far..........hopefully it shows up soon.
