How long has swipe back been a function?

I use this sh*t out of the swipe (far left to right) back function, makes it so much easier than stretching my thumb to the top left of the screen. How long has this feature been around??

I love this feature, maybe more than anything else in iOS 7. BUT I hate that not all apps have enabled it...I'm constantly trying to swipe back in Tapatalk, for instance, where it doesn't work.

Agreed. Even apps that have been updated for iOS7 are lacking this feature. I do love it though.

even the iMore app, which was updated for 7.0, still uses the cheesy ios 6 look and feel. i asked when it would be refreshed, as it desparately needs it, but went unanswered. probably wont be.

I didn't think that I used it often but I find myself trying to do it on my Note now. I guess I used it more than I thought lol
