Anyone else find the phone app laggy?

I'm using a 4S so maybe that is my issue although it shouldn't be. I'm not talking about the 2 animations you sometimes have to go through. The regular zoom in animation and then a unnecessary but brief diffuse animation for your favorite contacts to appear. I'm talking about the lag when you touch any of the buttons on the bottom. If you have used the app recently then the lag isn't there. If you haven't made a call in awhile, it's pretty noticeable when navigating around the app.

Yes, I've experienced the same issues. When I try to delete calls and hit the delete, it lags or doesn't do anything. Sometimes it closes out. I tried the back button to re type a phone number and had the same issue.

Yeah I noticed that too. I'm hoping when they fix this, which I assume they will, they get rid of that diffuse animation which I have not noticed on any other Apple app. Kind of a weird inconsistency.

It's the parallax effect. To turn it off go to: Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion.

Yes that seemed to help but I wish an unrelated feature did not effect the performance of the phone app.

I've not noticed lag on my iPhone 5, but my iPhone 4's moving like a snail under iOS7.
