    Default ios7 and lte

I haven't noticed any problems except when I go from 3G to 4g.
What happens is when I'm in a 3G area my phone displays correct time but in 4g area it puts me in central time zone. I'm in eastern.
    Could be a carrier problem.
I'm on sprint in eastern tennessee and have the iphone5.

Probably carrier. Go to Settings, General, date & time and see if the "set time automatically" setting is on. If so it's getting the time from the carrier.

Are you near the timezone boundary? It's also possible that Sprint has a networking device on their network involved with setting timezones for user's devices that's misconfigured... you may need to go into settings and turn off automatic time settings.
