Automatic app updates notifications

Are we supposed to get a notification for automatic app updates? I've had acre updates, but didn't know until I looked.

No the idea is for the apps to update behind the scenes so we don't need to worry about it. I have it set so it doesn't use my cellular connection to update and I would recommend that to everyone - unless you have lots of data to use and don't care.

It shows up in my Notification Center... and if I go to the App Store, it shows the last 2 weeks of updates on the Update tab. AFAIK, that’s all there is.

There also looks like there is a blue dot next to the app icon once it has been updated, that is until you open it for the first time.

That's why my apps weren't downloading, I didn't have it set to use my cellular data.
