Anybody getting the following error? Won't allow me to sign into the app.

"Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on"

Are you referring to the official Gmail for iOS app? If so, did you ever get the problem fixed?

I resolved the issue by selecting the "never" for safari Block Cookies option under the settings/safari.

I am not sure if this is a safe situation but for now I can live with it.

anyone having an issue with the notifications not clearing on the app icon? I'm having to open, check mail, then reopen in order for the counter to go away.

I don’t see the badging not clearing... but sometimes there’s a bit of a lag - no more than a couple of seconds... but it’s noticeable.

I'm having this problem, too. But I have Safari blocked on my phone in settings/restrictions and I let a friend pick the code. Is there any way I can resolve this without safari?
