Default "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications"

I'm getting this error when I launch apps such as the GMail App, and any apps where there is any push notifications. Is this a bug? Anyone else having this issue?

Are either of you using unlocked phones? This can be a provisioning issue, especially if your carrier doesn't officially support the iPhone.

If not, you may want to try a restore, just make sure to back up your data.

I had the same issue with getting a lot of "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications", what i did to solve it was to do the following:

    1. Restore IOS to default setting using IOS 7 Beta file.
    2. Dont restore from itunes.
    3. Restore from iCloud instead

I'm having an issue restoring my iphone via the process you describe. "Use iCloud Settings on your iPhone to turn off Find My iPhone before restoring your iPhone." I already turned off Find My iPhone and took the liberty of deleting the app altogether and restarted the phone itself. I'm still getting the alert and thus am not allowed to restore my iphone. Please help.

What do you mean by the first step here? Can you describe how to do this? Thanks

IF you’re a developer, then install the beta software.

    Hello Christian,

Do you mean restoring it from iTunes (with the iOS 7 Beta Installation kit) or directly from the Phone, by Resetting - Erase all content and data?

Same question here. Do you refer to erasing all the content from the phone itself, after installing iOS 7 Beta, or by reinstalling iOS 7 Beta from iTunes directly, with the same installation kit (Option + Restore"

Thank you! In the meantime i decided to restore to 6.1.4. Let's see if it works.

Yup restoring was straight forward from iTunes after putting the phone in Recovery Mode.

    Sorry I couldn't update till now...issues resolved.

"Connect to iTunes..." was resolved by simply downgrading to iOS6 again and then reinstalling iOS7 as a NEW PHONE. That fixed the push issue as well as the iMessage/Facetime issue. Setting up as a new phone wasn't the most fun, but it did waste 3 hours at work so it was worth it. Make sure you back up to iCloud whatever you need.

I don't have a UDID-verified iPhone and i tried to update my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, and I was having the same problems with iMessage/FaceTime activation and Push notifications. Ultimately, the only thing my attempt to update my phone did successfully was force me to accept defeat and send my iPhone into the depths of DFU mode (also erasing all my stuff). Oh well.

I just wiped reset and wiped my phone then put the most recent icloud backup on my phone and it seemed to fix the problem as well.
