It makes sense that they will go that way eventually. Safari tabs are handled like this already. Plus, it was experimented with earlier on in iOS development but was shelved. If they can get the battery life and memory in check with this type of solution, they'll go for it.

That reminds me a ton of how Windows Phone does multitasking (which i love btw) I think that Apple would be smart to make this the new multitasking in iOS

Like it.....like it a lot actually. Would be a very happy camper if that is was adapted for iOS.

I saw this and I like it, the toggles at the bottom especially are sweet. Although the app previews are sweet especially since they are updating dynamically I find it hard to believe it is something Apple would actually do. It takes the user out of the home screen too much. There is so much that can be done with the iPhone and Jailbreak is a perfect example of it all but Apple will not do it because they want to keep everything simple. I think something similar eventually will happen because as time goes on they can't continue to keep it simple because new users are becoming more and more advanced and knowledgable. So things like swiping left and right on the screen from within an app to get to the next app. The problem is that even this leaves people still swiping a lot what if your app is four apps over? There has to be a more simple, direct and quick way and that would be my preference. Like if the OS would figure out what you want to do next and prompt you with options to launch the items. So lets say you add a meeting in Calendar at the bottom of the add event page would be links to open "Email" "Reminder" "Alarm" because these are the things you would want to do next send an email about the meeting, set a reminder about the meeting or set an alarm to alert you of the meeting. Even better It would have toggles for the functions and you click ok it would automatically make a reminder, alarm and then open an email so you can send the details of the meeting out.

    I agree totally with you.
I do hope that some day, this concept because a jailbreak tweak in Cydia. Somewhat similar to how Auxo came to fruition. I'm always on the hunt to find unique, innovative iOS Concepts.

    And becomes a jailbreak tweak.
I hope apple fixes that too.

Loved the card concept with WebOS; however, it seems that the current structure allows you to get to 4 recent apps with each swipe and so is quicker to get to apps.

Holy cow that is exactly how my note 2 handled apps, minus the live update on the tile.
