    Default iOS 6.1.3 Released

Go get it... details to come...

Fixes lock screen security bug for one thing...

Edit to add: This update will likely render jailbreaking no longer possible... update at your own risk.

I'm downloading it OTA at this very moment. Thanks, Keith. Unfortunately, the update has yet to reach iTunes. Anyway, according to the update, the two main fixes are as follows:

    1. Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
    2. Improvements to Maps in Japan

I want to know how battery life is on this build? I'm still on 6.1.1 because I get great battery life there and I've heard battery life on the next update was compromised.

My AT&T 5 got the same build.

I love OTA updates. Got mine while eating at Five Guys using Starbucks wifi (its next door).

I guess I've been one of the lucky ones whose battery life has been basically the same since I've had my 4S. I've noticed minor improvements here and there, but in general terms, it's been the same...Very good for the manner in which I use my device and I suspect it will be the same with iOS 6.1.3.

I'll be downloading this evening when I arrive home from work.

Battery life has been fine. Gets me thru the entire day with moderate to heavy use.

Just updated my iphone5 to the latest iOS 6.1.3 and the phone symbol with the arrow pointing right has appeared near the wifi symbol. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm trying to find out what it's meaning is.

Just noticed it has now disappeared. Strange indeed. However everything is still working perfectly fine.

I would go to Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding - toggle it on, see if the icon comes back... then off again - and then reboot the phone.

Those are the two "headline" items... the description does note "improvements and other bug fixes including..." - we don't know what's unspecified.
