    Does anyone know how to update ipad 2 to ios6 ? there is no software update facility in settings.

    Settings>> General>> Software Update -- or via iTunes connected to a computer.

    Thanks, I'll try via itunes as no "software update" in settings menu. Sorry never heard of BadElf.

    It is a GPS accessory for wifi iPads - they don't have their own internal GPS, so in order to use Navigation/Map apps that store full maps on the device, one has to use an accessory device to provide GPS data to the iPad... BadElf is one of those.
