App Store update tab

3 days ago now the update tab in my App Store will just not load

I open up App Store and it tries to load the update tab but then just goes blank/white and shows nothing.

All the other tabs load and work fine.

I have also tried absolutely everything to try and fix this. It's driving me crazy

When that happens to me, I restart my phone and it fixes it. But that really shouldn't be happening lol

It's been happening to me for a while. I just close the App Store completely in the app switcher and then it updates when I reopen the App Store. This has been happening for a few weeks with mine.

Yea, this has been going on for quite some time. Some people have had luck just by doing a reset. Some people wait it out. I go through each tab sequentially, and when I return to the update tab it usually works.

Tcch. Typical. The app with the dodgiest reliability is one from Apple that is meant to access more reliable apps.

Sporadically this is the case here (iOS v6.0.1 on both iPhone and iPad) and Apple seems clueless.

Update to iOS 6.1. I'm not having the issue anymore after the update.

"Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again."

Not only did this correct the connectivity issue, it has allowed me to browse the list of available Passbook-compatibile apps. Several MacRumors users also report that the fix solved the issue for them.

Finally, I noticed that, after changing the date, the row of icons at the bottom of the iOS 6 App Store have changed from "Features," "Categories," "Top 25," "Search" and "Updates" to "Featured," "Charts," "Genius," "Search" and "Updates."

iOS 6.1 update worked. App Store much slower than previous

I've encountered the same issue since updating to iOS 6.1. Seems to be somewhat worse over 3G as opposed to Wi-Fi.

Device: iPhone 4S 32GB.
iOS: 6.1.
Carrier: Vodafone Australia.

Updated my 4s from iOS 5.0.1 to 6.1.1 last night & now the App Store won't load at all. Facebook has been having issues loading as well. All other apps seem to be working fine.

I have the same problem. Its been 3 weeks now. Btw, what's an app switcher?? Sorry for the stupid question of mine.

App Switcher, Application manager, App Drawer, Muktitasking pane. It's the little drawer at the bottom that shows all your open apps when you double click the home button. It seems like everyone calls it something different.
