Hello.

I am new to iOS. i am usually an Android user but I believe that for tablets the Ipad is still the best choice. I bought the new Ipad 4. i am happy so far. One problem I have is that I usually use Chrome as a browser as I like to share the google browser over all devices. i am having the problem that the spellchecker does not work when I am writing in chrome on a web page. in Android the spellchecker always works when entering text. Is this not possible in iOS or am I doing something wrong? thanks in advance for your help.

Does the spellcheck or auto-correct work other places? If you haven't tried it just go into Notes or start and email. Because it should work. If Chrome is the only place it doesn't work then it is a problem with the app not the iPad or iOS.

In Chrome it doesn't spell check when searching...

Strangely all of a sudden it started working in chrome. I am 100% sure it did not work before. Who knows. Happy that now it is working. Thanks for your answers and cheers from Germany. :-)
