On my iPhone 5 running 6.0.1 my friend from his blackberry send me about 7 pictures. I got 3 of them and when I tried to open the chat my messages app froze for about 30 seconds and then crashed. I quit the app and tried it again but it wouldn't keep freezing. Finally I had to restart my phone to be able to open the app. Anyone have this issue? It was trough mms not iMessage.

Crashes happen to everyone, as do lockups. It's not a big deal unless you can produce it on demand all the time. You rebooted, problem solved...not a big deal.

I can probably replicate it if he sends me enough pictures again. Will post back if that's the case.
